Savoy Executive guide

What affects a chauffeur quote?

Learn which journey details shape the available chauffeur options and the total shown by the booking form.

A useful quote starts with a complete journey. The booking form uses the details entered to return the available representative vehicle classes and the current total. This guide explains the information to prepare before requesting a price; it does not replace the total shown for the journey.

Journey type changes the information required

A direct journey needs a pickup and destination. A return adds a separate later leg. Hourly hire uses a booked duration and suits a connected itinerary where the chauffeur and vehicle need to remain available for that period.

Choose the journey type that matches the plan. A list of stops should not be hidden inside a direct point-to-point request.

Route, date and time must be precise

Use the full pickup and destination returned by the location search, then check the local date and pickup time. For airport travel, select the correct terminal and add the flight number where the form requests it.

A different route, date or time is a different set of journey details. Recheck the available options and total after making a change.

Passenger and luggage details guide the class choice

Count everyone travelling on that leg and the standard check-in bags requested by the form. Describe pushchairs, mobility aids, sports equipment or unusually shaped items before travel.

The vehicle photographs show representative classes. Makes and models are supplied on an “or equivalent” basis, so compare the published passenger and luggage guidance rather than choosing from a photograph alone.

The selected class is part of the quote

The booking form returns the classes available for the details entered. Select the class that suits the passengers, luggage and presentation required for the journey.

If no listed class clearly suits the requirement, contact Customer Care rather than assuming that an item will fit.

Additional requirements need a clear description

Use the available fields for information that is relevant to the journey. Several vehicles, separate passenger movements or unusual luggage may need a conversation with Customer Care before booking.

Do not send payment-card details, identity documents or unrelated personal information through a general enquiry.

Review the live result before payment

The booking engine is authoritative for current availability and the final journey total. Read the route, date, time, travelling party and selected class together before continuing to secure payment.

If any detail changes, return to the journey and obtain the result for the corrected information.
