Stansted Airport pickup guide
Prepare for a Stansted pickup with the right flight date, passenger contact and luggage details. Check airport access information and your confirmed meeting plan.
Before you fly to Stansted, keep your transfer confirmation somewhere you can open after landing. Check the arrival date, flight number, destination and passenger contact. If someone else booked the car, ask them to share the confirmation with you.
Your flight may leave on one date and reach the UK on another. Use the arrival date shown on your itinerary when checking the pickup. If the itinerary changes, send the corrected information with your booking reference and ask for confirmation of the amendment.
Follow the collection details for your booking
Stansted publishes several pickup and drop-off options, including Short Stay parking. Those airport access options do not establish where a particular chauffeur will meet you. Avoid choosing a different meeting point after landing without agreeing it first. A map pin, an airport sign and a booking instruction can refer to different parts of the collection process. If you cannot find the meeting point, describe where you are before moving elsewhere.
Count the bags before choosing a vehicle
Include cabin bags, pushchairs and bulky equipment when planning space. The number of seats alone will not tell you whether everything fits. Use the vehicle capacity guidance and ask about items that fall outside the published bag descriptions before booking.
If your group arrives on different flights, give Customer Care each flight and the number of passengers on it. Do not enter one flight number as though everyone arrives together. Keep the person travelling reachable rather than relying only on an organiser who may be asleep or in a meeting.
Check the onward address
Use the full hotel or building address, including the postcode. Check the location when several properties share a similar name. If you need another stop, include it in the journey request before confirming rather than assuming the driver can add it on arrival.
